AHR ČR events are designed for owners and operators of accommodation and dining establishments, as well as representatives from vocational schools.
Our events are regular and take place throughout the Czech Republic. Dates and locations are carefully chosen with the needs of our members in mind.
Check our events calendar for the latest information on upcoming events.
Attending our events will provide you with up-to-date information on legislation and expert insights into topics relevant to operators of accommodation and dining services in their establishments. You will gain valuable information, fresh perspectives from experts, inspiration, the opportunity to establish new business relationships, and the chance to exchange experiences with colleagues who share the same interest in hospitality.
Entry to the Roadshow is free.
This is a half-day series of lectures. The event starts at 9:00 AM and ends around 2:00 PM. During our meeting, two coffee breaks will be provided.
We regularly organize professional seminars, lectures, as well as during the Roadshow and the November AHR conference. These events provide operators with a unique opportunity to gain valuable information, share experiences with colleagues, and establish new business relationships.
We participate in conferences focused on tourism and hospitality and give lectures at schools. We offer operators of accommodation and dining establishments a variety of topics for training their teams through the AHR Czech Republic Academy - www.akademieahr.cz.
You can find updates about our events on our website www.ahrcr.cz in the "Events Calendar" section, on the pages www.akceahr.cz, or on social media.
We can also send you notifications and newsletters if you subscribe on our website. If you are a member, you will receive information via email or through the AHR Czech Republic Newsletter.

Schools, small accommodation facilities, and restaurants pay a fee of 3,000 CZK per year, while others are charged based on the number of rooms. For more information, visit: https://www.ahrcr.cz/cenik/.

Members can also benefit from savings resulting from collective contracts, diverse know-how from fellow colleagues, and expand their business contacts and experiences.

Yes, AHR has its own Academy, which offers a variety of courses tailored to current market needs. The courses are designed for frontline staff up to middle management and cover topics such as service, reception, reservations, sales techniques, marketing, PR, as well as crisis situations and the use of artificial intelligence in operations. The instructors are experts from practice, drawn from senior management. Training can take place either at AHR or at your location. For courses, schedules, and contact information, visit www.akademieahr.cz.
The Association of Hotels and Restaurants of the Czech Republic is a professional organization that brings together entrepreneurs. Our main goal is to advocate for the common interests of the industry and to support and develop accommodation and dining establishments in the Czech Republic. We also operate as a service organization for our members.
AHR has developed the Official Unified Classification of Accommodation Facilities in the Czech Republic for categories such as hotels, hotel garni, guesthouses, and apartment hotels/compleks, based on which official star ratings are awarded. This system is voluntary for all accommodation facilities, including members. For more information, visit www.hotelstars.cz.
AHR has 1,900 members, including both large and small providers of accommodation services, restaurants, and schools.
The Association actively collaborates with public administration and serves as a consultative body as a member of the Chamber of Commerce. It is also a member of the European confederation HOTREC, through which it addresses legislation at the European level and communicates directly with Members of the European Parliament. The Association monitors the legislative process for key laws from the beginning until final approval, and subsequently provides information and methodologies for its members.
Thanks to a network of experts who work externally for the association, it regularly issues its positions and communicates them to the public, as well as to the government and lawmakers.
